Known as Cerro de la Muerte, but its original name is Cerro Bellavista, it is a mountain through which you travel between the Great Metropolitan Area (GAM) of Costa Rica to access the Brunca region.

Within said hill it is possible to find the Tapantí Reserve and the Los Quetzales National Park, it is an area that, due to its altitude, during the journey it is possible to find paramo vegetation and its temperatures at certain times during the year can be around 0 degrees Celsius.
