We transformed a wet grassland from a degraded swamp into a paradise for birdwatchers and a biodiverse permacultural farm. We are developing concepts for the diversification of monocultures towards biodiverse and profitable polycultures and we advise with their implementation. We are a center of information and education for sustainable agricultural systems and we carry out workshops in this regard. As active members of AMISTOSA (the governmental association for the biological corridor that connects the La Amistad National Park and the Osa Peninsula) our tree nursery specializes in endangered species to be distributed within the corridor area for reforestation. We are working together with the Ministry of Environment and Energy, Friendly, University of Costa Rica, Foundation of National Parks CR, Conservation Osa, Las Cruces Botanical Garden and the local population.
